Members of the Sparks group will be performing at the opening of the Tesco store in Oswaldtwistle at 4pm on Wednesday 15th July.




Dying Matters

Auditions/Read throughs will be held in on 20th July at Hippings Vale Community Centre at 7pm. To see a copy of the play in advance please email info@gayleknight.co.uk or ring 01254 387851.

More Award nominations

We have received a letter from Kevin Rawcliffe (District 3 Rep) notifying us that the NODA North West District 3 Awards Evening is to be reinstated. This prestigious formal event will take place on the 25th September 2009 at the Blackburn Rovers Premier Suite and Oswaldtwistle Players have received 4 nominations :-

Best Supporting Male Actor in a Play

Paul McGowan – George – Road to Nowhere - Oswaldtwistle Players

Best Female Lead in a Play

Sophie Fitzpatrick - Mary Barton – Mary Barton – Oswaldtwistle Players

Best Staging Set or Technical

Congratulations to Sophie Fitzpatrick for the NODA nomination for Best Actress in a Play. The Award ceremony is held in Blackpool on 3rd May.

4th May 09 update. Unfortunately Sophie didn't come away with the Award but congrats for being nominated.
